This
map was originally created by Kane The Medeocre222 and was later extensively
redone by Geisthund222 with a completely revised height map giving sufficient
water depth to accommodate naval units of all types, and a new, more realistic
water colour and a newly textured set of underwater features to match.
With this final revision of this map I along
with a lot of imput from Geisthund222 have scripted three Mission schemas for
an Easy Medium and Hard single player Mission that will hopefully be found to be a challenge for even the best TA
players out there.
The basic objective is to take the northern
bridgehead before you are wiped out completely, the Easy Mission is fairly easy to win and aimed toward less
experienced players, the Medium Mission is much harder to win as you will come
under attack from the start by a more developed enemy. The Hard Mission is for
the more experienced player, you will find yourself under attack immediately by
an enemy with a wide range of attacking units at its disposal, everything is
scripted to some degree to attack either your Commander or a vital structure
and you won’t get a chance to catch your breath at any stage, actually the
pressure will increase on you the further into the mission you get.
The mission specific files are all contained
within the “Strategic Bridges Final.ufo” there is a custom unit
“aiarmflydrag.ufo” included in the download zip, this unit “MUST” be copied to
your Totala directory for the mission to work properly as this unit plays a key
part in the Easy Mission.
